Minutes from January Meeting, 2008 The first meeting of Patrick County Partnership for the Fine Arts was held on September 26, 2003. During this time, members were given the purpose of the committee. An overview of the current fine arts program was provided and members were asked to identify a vision for the committee and to develop educational, community, and financial goals, objectives, and strategies needed to have a world-class fine arts program. The second meeting of the committee was held on October 23, 2003 to further review the goals, objectives, and strategies. Members of the committee were divided into educational, community, and financial areas to address these items. Additional meetings were held and a progress update was presented at the February, 2004 School Board meeting that included the goals and purposes of the Community/School Partnership for the Fine Arts.
